About
UA.briefly is an independent explainer project. Every day we pick a few important events in Ukraine and explain them briefly and clearly in three languages: Ukrainian, English and Polish.
How we work
- We rely only on reputable public sources (national news agencies, leading media, official statements).
- Every story is our own original short summary, not a copy. We never add facts, quotes or numbers that are not in the source.
- Each story links to the original source so you can check the details.
- We do not use other outlets’ photos. Covers are photorealistic AI-generated illustrations of generic scenes; they are not photos of the events and are always labelled as such.
About our host: a virtual, AI-generated presenter
Olya is a virtual presenter. Her appearance (portrait) is generated by artificial intelligence, and future videos featuring her will also be generated or altered with AI. She is not a real person.
We disclose this openly in line with the transparency obligations of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act, Article 50) for AI-generated or manipulated content. Host videos will be labelled accordingly.
Topic selection, fact-checking and responsibility for the content lie with the editorial team.
